Strong interest in Ekomarine share listing

A total of SEK8.3m has been raised by Ekomarine AB after the company listed its shares on Sweden's AktieTorget stock exchange

A total of SEK8.3m has been raised by Ekomarine AB after the Swedish developer of non-toxic marine hul paint preventing fouling listed its shares on the country's AktieTorget stock exchange earlier this month.

The total number of shares in Ekomarine AB is now 6,535,511 and the company's own capital has been raised from SEK92,551 to SEK653,551. The number of Ekomarine owners has grown from 26 to 192.

The first day of trading on the AktieTorget stock market is estimated to April 27, 2010.

Ekomarine was founded 2002 by Mr. Claes Tarras Ericsson and Mr. Mikael Haeffner. Ekomarine develops, produces and sells the markets only non-toxic ship hull paint under the brand, Neptune Formula. Neptune Formula was launched in 2009 and is based on Ekomarines R&D and world wide IP rights. Ekomarine has two subsidaries, Ekomarine Paint and Ekomarine Ballast. Ekomarine received a patent for ballast water cleaning in the US, September 2009. Ekomarine was in 2009 granted the international award Brand with a Conscience.
